I bought this little box to keep the threads. Handy. But even better would be something to store the threads together with their bobbins. But well, for a first step, it’s a BIG improvement already. You should have seen the mess before …
What’s missing here is the BIG bunch of paper I prepared!
My kitchen is very colorful now, since I fool around with the diluted acrylics. Not that it’s a real damage, the kitchen should have been renewed some years ago already …
Suddenly it hit me. I need fabric labels to sew in my items!
Do you think one of this designs would work on 2 x 1 inch?

Another experiment. I really like the result, but there are some things I could have made better. Mostly because I did not plan right from the start. As usual, ideas are coming when I’m nearly finished.
Well, but in real, the only thing I really would make different next time is to let the wrap around piece come over the hole front of the book. That way, there is room for a lot of pens, yeah!
Filled is this journal for truly creative minds with a lot of strong, 200g drawing paper that I already prepared with dilluted acrylics. Each page has another pattern so, each page turning will get the creative juices flow! :)
And because of the heavy paper, it takes all sketching instrument, even takes some watercolor washes and stands up to glueing things in it.
Mhhh… should I really put in into my shop? I’m tempted to keep it for myself!
I’m still on my quest for “other than leather” options. And yes, I have fun with it!
This one also had this thick felt inbetween to make it sturdy enough. But it’s better than the first one I tried, where I just sew the fabric on the felt on the outside. Yeah! I’m evolving!

ich habe mich an einem Stirnband versucht. Prima! Keine Haare mehr in den Augen! Und nächstes Mal mache ich es so, dass die richtigen Seiten vom Stoff außen sind. Heheee… aus mir wird eben nie eine Schneiderin!

And - I just made myself a headband. Great! No longer hairs in the eyes! And next time I’ll do it with the right sides of fabrics on the outside! Hehee.. I’ll never become a seamstress!
