I had such a good start today. Busy doing this and that and … suddenly it stopped. I found myself sitting on my desk, trying hard to stare holes into the air.
Time for a hot shower. Of course, when I came back it started to rain, so the “feel-good” effect did not last very long. Still, I made my way to the mailbox and YEAH! There was a stuffed envelope waiting for me.
The lovely vintage buttons I ordered from vetrinagirl just three days before. Now that’s what I call quick shipping, all the way from Rimini in Italy! :)
And I need to show you that fantastic treasury I made yesterday. It’s full of the fabulous fine FEELINGS Mitsy has in her Etsy shop for sale now. I so want them. I want them all!!!

I said I won’t do them any longer. But well, nice people still talk me into it.
Anyway… today I finished two and they are so different, I thought I share.
I had fun with both of them, but the style of the one with the bird is not something I usually do. Did not hear back from the customer yet, can only hope she likes it …
Update: Both customers where happy with their books. Puuhhh… :)

The new challenge of our European Etsy Team! I had to think a bit, so many things suddenly popped back into my brain. But finally, I decided for the thing that I still love most. Secret worlds, hidden deep in the woods, where fairies and dwarfs are living and wonderful things happen all the time.

I was busy all weekend with non-crafty stuff. The only exception - I made a lot of Fimo Buttons. Finally something I could use my Dremel for! To be honest, making the buttons was fun, but drilling the holes was too! :)
Now I need to clean them and either varnish them or polish. Not sure yet.
And Star of the East awarded me with the “Honest Weblog Prize”.
Here are the rules:
“When accepting this auspicious award, you must write a post about it, including the name of the misguided soul who thinks you deserve such acclaim, and link back to said person so everyone knows he or she is real. Okay but … I’m such an open book, don’t think I have any secrets left. Let me see …
1. I can not park a car. Not if the space is not at least twice as big as my car.
2. I’m snoring. That’s one of the reasons why I don’t want to sleep at someones place.
3. I need my privacy. That’s another reason :)
4. One could think I’m lazy but, the truth is, I’m a low engery level person. And it looks like it gets worse each year.
5. There are many things I can do quite well. But I’m still missing one where I can say that’s where I’m supergood at.
6. I’m a dreamer. I could spend all day just dreaming about life instead of living it. Has to do with the low energy thing I think …
7. I’m not sure yet wether I’m atheist or agnostic. Probably an agnostic atheist?
8. Thinking about some things makes me go crazy. Like religion, the meaning of life, the universe and all the rest. 42 just doesn’t say it all.
9. I’m a TV documentation junkie. Have them running all the time while working on the side. Strange things I’ve learned that way. But unfortunately, I forget most of it quickly.
10. The older I become, the more impatient I am.
Puh! Done. Now I need to find 7 people. Patrick, Miss X, ZsB, Ira, Devi, Pomme, Marianne
But please, feel free to just not take that challenge. I sometimes let them slip too … :)

Today I was feeling a bit unmotivated and did not want to do anything … But like always, the girls in my Etsy Street Team cheered me up and I challenged myself to make something totally crazy. Here is the result, I will list it in my Etsy Shop later.
Doing this was so much fun - and I have to thank Inger, who joined me in that crazy challenge. Go and see what crazy piece she made! :)
