Dear Customers …

1435.jpgDear customers, I must have sold over 1.500 pieces so far to amazing people and I’m very proud, happy and thankful for that! Oh yes I am! :)
I’m just sad because I can’t keep up with all of you on that social networking things like Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, DeviantART and whatever else there is.
Sometimes I chat with someone on Twitter - only to realise some time afterwards that it’s a customer who already bought some books from me. And often I only realise that someone is a returning customer when I put all the info into my sales database …
Bah! All that babbling … what I mean to say is, thanks for all your support! Just be patient with me if I don’t realise right away who you are. I do my best and I love you all :D

My Mystic Unicorn

1434.jpg2227.jpg469.jpg

This weeks challenge theme is “Mystic”.  See more entries here.
It took me ages and much paper until I finally had a design I was happy with.
Okay. To tell the truth - only when I realised that I can hide the bottom part of the horse in the water, it worked. Not for the life of me was I able to draw the horse body …
The book is available in my Etsy Shop. It’s bigger than usual: 15 x 22 cm (6 x 8.6 inch)

Theme for this weeks challenge is “The Hidden Side”. This is my interpretation of the theme. I sure am not the only one often hiding my sad or grumpy or bad side behind a smiling face, right?  And to hide even more things, I built in a little pocket. It’s available in my Etsy Shop.

Today I baked books

Yes look, this tiny ones made from Super Sculpey again.
541.jpg635.jpg713.jpg

And because I was to lazy to make real books today, I listed the big purple one in my new shop as my challenge entry for this week. See more entries here!
Making these was fun, but my future surely  is not beeing a miniature polymer clay artist. Gosh! One needs to be super neat and tidy and careful … not really my thing :)

Tiny Planets

1427.jpg2223.jpg3159.jpg

Fun! :)
Quick try and error pieces but still - I like the result. Am thinking about making more, for selling. What’s your opinion? Is there a market for tiny planets?

First experiments with Super Sculpey

1426.jpg

Finally I had time to try it. I like it. It’s much softer than Fimo, no need to kneed like crazy until it becomes soft. And - it doesn’t  harden “just so”. Doesn’t stick on the fingers very much and is beautiful to work with. Have yet to bake it, though. Am already curious to see how it looks like after that. And how it’s painted and such …
Oh! Just in case you can’t see what I made here. These are little planets with tiny houses on them :)
