Do you know that Sales Fairies exist? No? Well, maybe it’s something that’s only known about in our European Street Team on Etsy. We often call them when there are dry spells and nothing moves in our shops. So far, nobody every has seen one, though. Until Inger gave the first one a face. Hehehe….
You can read more about the Saley Fairy Game on our Teamblog. See the Piglet Fairy Godmother! That’s the one I caught. And I can tell you, it was hard to get her as everybody is so keen on having one!
The one I made is, well, fun I hope. Here are more photos with her in action. At least I had lots of fun making her and I hope she will serve Mitsy well, who is next in line to make a fairy now.

I’m always on the lookout for affordable suede. Where red one is my most wanted. Found one on Ebay and bought. It arrived. It’s flimsy, but well, that I knew. I made up for it by sewing it on a piece of strong black one and the usual, black industrial felt. What I did not expect was the somewhat musty smell … The smell is not very strong, but still it’s there. I think with a bit of time, it may dissapear, but I can’t be sure about that.

So I will only offer it here with free worldwide (registered) shipping to make up for the smell. It’s USD 46.- or EUR 31,-
Payment can be made with PayPal (prefered) or if you’re in an EU country also with bank transfer.
Size: 11 x 16 cm (4.5 x 6 inch)
Paper: blank, 120 g/m², 240 pages (counted both sides)
Not longer available but watch out, there may come more …

I’m so busy making my books, it’s amazing! Really have a hard time keeping my Etsy shop stocked up at the moment. But of course, that’s great! :D
The latest rush on my shop was due to a feature on DevianArt. I have an account there (due to a loveley person even a premium one now!) and to my shame I must say, I still don’t know how everything works there. I did not do much more than browse around to see great artwork and of course, show my stuff too.
But, another lovely person suggested me for the Daily Deviants and wosh - a lot of action, so many nice mails and messages - gave me a big ego boost. Thanks all! :)

Nothing spectacular you say? Ha! You should try to install that wire thingie on our old brick walls. First we tried to have the wire from wall to wall (over that pinboard) because I wanted to hang some stuff up there. Well, the wall anchors came out like “whhhuuusch” and even took some piece of wall with them. Bigger anchors did not do the trick either. Now it’s hanging like that. And yes, it’s not really tense, but I don’t dare to touch it again! :D

Finally. Studio still needs decoration and some final touches, but I’m able to work again. As you can see, no computer in there. I’ll be SO productive! As long as I can resist to take the notebook in there with me, that is …

First task today was to build a new lightbox. I used one of these big IKEA boxes. Works great, down in the ugly basement.
And finally, I wanted to show you the most clever shelf I ever had. It’s made from three cheap little IKEA (yes, again) tables and can take huge stuff like big paper, rolled leather and felt. Very handy!
You can see it stands in front of a door. Heheh… was not really planned that way, but well, there is another door into the room, don’t worry :)

It does look much better now. Think it really became a bit lighter when drying and the walls are white now, that also brightens it all probably.

Today hubby took a day off from work to paint the ceiling in my new studio.
I wanted a sky blue ceiling. See the red mark on the one photo? That’s the color I wanted. And well, I think it IS the color that’s on the wall now but - it looks …. SO VERY BLUE!!!!

Hehehe… maybe I’m just not used to colors. So far I had all walls white. Everywhere. And of course the color is not dry yet so… maybe there is hope it will become lighter in the end.
Next will be the white walls. I still have to find a way to make sort of a “transition” from the white to the blue, as I don’t want a clear line … Keep your fingers crossed for me! :)
